Canceled: The Varsity Girls Basketball home game Thursday, February 03, against Newberry is canceled.
The Regional Adult Career and Technical Education Course are hosting an open house at Rudyard on Thursday, Feb. 3rd, 3:30 – 6:30, at the Rudyard CTE Cabinetry Shop located at Rudyard Jr/Sr High School.
The Open house will give potential adult students a tour of the classroom/shops, perhaps try out some tools and fill out enrollment paperwork. Potential students are those looking to improve their cabinetry skills and develop along with students who are seeking a GED.

This past week NHS students worked on a fun service project. Students painted positive message rocks and will be placing them around the community! Nice job Bulldogs, Keep Building!

Freshmen, Emma Mitchell and Alli Kuenzer, deserve a huge shoutout! They have been volunteering their time 4 days a week all season long (since mid-October!) to help coach and mentor our youngest Piranhas.
The improvement in their swimming had been tremendous but most of all they have fostered a love of swimming in these children. The Piranhas coaches and board are grateful for them and proud that RHS has such amazing student-athletes who are willing to give up their own time to help others. Keep Building Girls!
We regret to inform you that our High School Girls JV Basketball team has been cancelled for the rest of the season. This was a difficult decision to make and we are sorry for the inconvenience that this may cause.
There will not be a Rudyard JV Girls game Friday, January 21 against Pickford. The Sault Freshman team will be playing Pickford's JV team with a start time of 5:45pm at Rudyard. Rudyard Varsity vs. Pickford Varsity will follow this game.
Reminder that Thursday (1/20) and Friday (1/21) are 1/2 Days of school this week, do to high school exams.
It has been confirmed that the JV/Varsity Boys Basketball game against Munising will be home on Saturday, January 22 with a start time of 4:00pm.

Rudyard Jr/Sr High School is hosting a Career Day on Wednesday, February 16, 2022, at our school. A Career Day is an opportunity for students to interact with business/community partners from a variety of fields to share information about their workplace, their job, and their education and skills required for success in their career. Career Days offer an opportunity for students to listen, receive information and ask questions about different fields of employment.

We would like to finalize the speaker lineup by Monday February 7 to give staff time to create student schedules. Speakers can sign up for morning sessions, afternoon sessions or both.
Our ultimate outcome for this program is to help students learn about local workplace opportunities and give them real work connections to their education.
