Student Council Supports Animal Shelter The Rudyard Elementary Student Council donated dog food, cat litter, and other items to the local Chippewa County Animal Shelter.

Rudyard Elementary's Monday Morning Assembly on December 10th, 2018 featured special guests from the Chippewa County Animal Shelter.

The Student Council presented donated items to the Shelter including dog food, cat litter, a dog bed, and other items.

A number of students were also recognized at the assembly.

Marshall Dankert from Krueger's 1st grade was recognized for getting 100% correct on his Unit 3 math test, which includes explaining his answers in writing. William Brehm and Jordyn Richards from Mrs. Berkompas's kindergarten class were recognized for working especially hard learning to read and counting to 100. Finally, Michael Gilbert, M.J. Beelen and Adison Scott were all recognized in Mrs. Nicklas's 2nd grade class for keeping a reading log for September, October, and November and showing excellence in practicing reading skills.

Aiden Holwerda awarded Ms. Clark with a Successory. While giving her the award, he said "Thank you for helping me when I'm stuck on a question. You come and help me."
